Build It planning specialist accepts the award on behalf of Scandinavian Homes
The award recognises our clients’ meticulous work over many evenings and weekends, which has resulted in a stunning and spacious family log home. Mr and Mrs Bax worked directly with us to design their home to ensure it included everything they and their two children needed.
Scandinavian Homes was also shortlisted for the ‘Best Eco Home’ award but was pipped to the post by an off-grid house. We extend our congratulations to all the other award winners.

The Build It Awards
The Build It Awards, in association with Buildstore, are an annual celebration that recognises innovation and excellence in the custom and self-build home market.
‘Best Self Build Under £300k ’ category is for self-build homes that have been completed for under £300,000 (construction and fit-out cost, excluding land) and is open to projects that make best use of the budget available, and those at the more affordable end of the spectrum. Judges looked at how the project has delivered a high-quality home that represents great value-for-money, while achieving the homeowner’s requirements.
