At Scandinavian Homes, we look at building houses in a different way. We’re not a mass market housebuilder, throwing up dozens of homes on a site with little care what happens to them once we’ve sold them. We’re not an out-of-the-catalogue wooden box builder either. We’re a small family business and friendly team, and our aim is to help our customers build their perfect forever home. When we start to talk to you about your dream of building your own home, it’s the beginning of a journey that we will take together, with our team guiding and advising you every step of the way.
Whether you come to us with a plot and detailed planning permission, or you call us on the very first day you decide you want to look into self building, we will do everything we can to help you achieve the forever home that you really want. If we can’t create that for you within your budget, we’ll be honest upfront and tell you that, so you don’t waste your time. We’ll talk through your ideas with you, and recommend the best match from our existing house models, but there’s always the option to customise them to suit the way you really want your home to be.
If you choose our turnkey service, we will work through every single detail with you – roofing and cladding, kitchen units and appliances, your bathroom suites, flooring, decor, and lighting. We’ll organise groundworks and foundations for you, and getting the utilities connected. We’ll keep you informed of progress throughout the build, all you need to do is organise the removal people to bring your furniture for you on moving in day. And remember, we agree a specification and costs when we sign a contract with you, as long as you don’t make any changes, you can rest easy that your house will be built within your budget. Your future home is safe in our hands.

I live in the USA. I am looking to build next year and very interested in one of your home plans. Can you please send me some info on how I can work with you from the USA? Thank you.
Thank you. We’ve replied to you via email, but unfortunately we do not work in the USA.
